This book is made as part of MM Yu’s DECK Artist-in-Residence (AIR) in 2023 and it is her first photoboook publication. During her residency between April to May 2023, the idea of a photobook was ignited. Subsequently, MM Yu has made more visit to Singapore to photograph to build up the content for the book. The book designers Gideon and Jamie took on this project, and expanded the book ideas presented by the artist and DECK, and added new readings to the photographs.
