Jiazazhi Magazine (Volume 1) was published five years after its trial issue.
Titled Wushu Xiuci (巫术修辞), which in English means 'myth rhetorical', the magazine topics around mythology, witchcraft, shaman practices, and its related practices in the field of contemporary art within Southeast Asia.
The artists in this issue are: Apichatpong Weerasethakul, Yin-Ju Chen, Constantin Schlachter, Guo Fengyi, Ho Tzu Nyen, Jiang Zhi, Lu Pingyuan, Naito Masatoshi, Matthew Barney, Wang Tuo, Chen Zhe.
